Bike & Sauna Tour
Visit one of the famous public saunas in Tampere by bike. If you are looking for THE Finnish sauna experience, we will go to the more than hundred-year old Rajaportti Sauna in the Pispala district; or we go to the lakeside sauna - Rauhaniemi. After the sauna we will go back with our bikes to see more of the city.
On Monday we will
visit Kaupinojan Sauna next to the lake in Kauppi Forest. This
is a mixed public sauna where you have to wear your bathing clothes.
There are separate changing rooms for men and women. You need to bring
you bathing clothes, towel and something to drink from such as a water
bottle.
On Thursday we visit Rauhaniemi Sauna next to one of the big lakes. This is a mixed public sauna where you have to wear your bathing clothes. There are separate changing rooms for men and women. You need to bring your bathing clothes, towel and something to drink from such as a water bottle.
On Friday we visit the oldest public sauna in Finland,
Rajaportti. In this sauna men and women have separate saunas. You only
need to bring your towel and something to drink from such as a water
bottle.
Total cost for this tour is 25,- euro including bicycle rent, sauna visit, and guide.
All days the tour starts at 16.30 and will take 2 1/2 hours including the sauna visit which takes approximately 1 hour.

Cultural bike tour Thursday’s from May until end of September
Make
a journey out of the city center. Discover Pispala where we can find
beautiful wooden houses and great views on the lake. We will continue
by bike towards Pyynikki ridge. On top of the ridge we will have a rest
at the observation tower. The tower offers a view on the city and the
surrounding lakes and a visit is included in the price.
The tour includes entrance to the observation tower, bike rent and guiding.
Total cost of the program is 30 euro.
