This sauna is situated on the shore of lake Näsijärvi and had options to swim on two sides. On one side we find a rocky coast directly entering the big lake and the other side is a sand beach with a shallow part of the lake. The sauna dates from 1929 and is open the whole year. We organise sauna tours where we take a tour by bike to the sauna and back. More information about our sauna tours can be found here.
This is the oldest still working sauna of it’s kind in Finland and dates back to 1906. This sauna used to be mixed, but since 1935 it is a separate sauna for men and women. This is one of the sauna’s that we go to during our sauna tour.
Is situated next to the lake in Kauppi Forest. This is a mixed public sauna where you have to wear your bathing clothes. There are separate changing rooms for men and women. You need to bring you bathing clothes, towel and something to drink from such as a water bottle.
In Tampere there are also several sauna’s that you can privately rent for a group. If you want to know more about this you can contact us.
